14 January 2016
Seeing that I am new at this Blogging, I am including some pictures of our MTC District, and of our visit to the Provo City Center Temple open house with friends Steve and Tami. Steve worked for Ray in his grocery store in Ferron, Utah many years ago and now we live around the corner from them.

Called to Serve
D & C 100:5,6
Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and you shall not be confounded before men.
For it shall be given you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment what ye shall say.
Ray and I have been called to serve in the Utah Orem Mission for 18 months as a Live -at-home Member and Leader Support Missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We entered the MTC on Monday 28th December 2015 for five days, we were able to come home each night. We had the opportunity to sing in the missionary MTC choir on Tuesday 29th December during the devotional with Elder Arnold of the Seventy. What an experience to sit among these young sisters and elders and sing "Called to Serve."
We loved our MTC District consisting of three other couples. Our teachers were former missionaries and were wonderful in teaching us adults from "Preach My Gospel" book. Our last day was on New Years Day 2016.
We now labor in our own Stake, living at home, being a support to the full time Elders or Sisters, for now it's elders, as well to the ward mission leaders of each ward, to the Bishops of each ward and to the ward councils of each ward.
From Monday through Saturday January 4-9, we had the opportunity to take investigators and or inactive members or new converts to the Provo City Center Open House a week before the general public. Ray was able to help the two full time Elders with all their people they were taking through along with our Zone Leader a couple of days. It's a beautiful temple for the Lord to have on earth for the eternal work of salvation and exaltation.
We are currently working with a family who the wife is a member and the husband is not, he has overcome the Word of Wisdom problem has has had, quit cold turkey on his tea drinking, working on one more thing. We sit with them each night and read from the Book of Mormon and help them understand what they are reading. We will be doing the same for another family as well whom we met last night (13 January 2016)
We have met and will continue to meet with each bishop of the eight wards in our stake in seeing what they need help in, to encourage their Ward Council to reach out to the less active as well as working with the ward mission leaders. We have attended at least three Sacrament meetings the past two Sunday's which is helpful to the members of each ward to know who we are.
I will be posting more off and on and pictures as well.
